Mystery Reader - 2/27
Join us for engaging literacy activities with your students and learn how to support literacy at home. Students in K - 6th will receive free books and the media center will be open for 7th and 8th grade students. Thursday March 5th at Pickens Junior High, Drop in from 5:30 - 7:30. Our school was awarded the Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness for the 2025-2026 school year. Our application was reviewed by representatives from the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, Georgia Public Safety Training Center, Office of Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner as well as the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and we met the standards of excellence required for recognition.
