"I get to put up the flag today!” Abe said with excitement. He and Elijah proudly raised the flags over Hill City with the guidance of Deputy Roach. We’re thankful for his help in teaching these young patriots how to respectfully honor our national and state symbols.


Carnival fun at CAMP! Our first behavior celebration was a hit – students enjoyed popcorn and games under the Big Top! It’s all part of our focus on practicing the 7 Habits in "Leader in Me" to earn a spot at the next celebration!


Counting collections in action! Ms. Yeargin’s second graders are exploring math hands-on by counting objects in a collection and recording the different strategies they use.

Mrs. Sutton’s Math Classes Declared WAR on Place Value!
Students battled it out in a fun game of Math War! Each round, they compared numbers by reading and determining the value of the digits on their game cards. It was an exciting way to practice place value skills while keeping the competition friendly and engaging.

K & 1st graders, inspired by the book by Alexandra Penfold, built their own "All Are Welcome" schools—places where EVERY child belongs.
Grades 2–4 took on the "Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun" (book written by Maria Dismondy) kindness challenge… and battled to see who could build the TALLEST spaghetti tower! It's tougher than you think!
