Pickens County School District will once again have a staggered start to the school year. K-6 drop off times begin at 7:30 a.m. and after-school care is available until 6:00 p.m. (contact your school for more information).

Mrs. Chapman, our Ag teacher, has been busy in the Hill City garden this summer! She's sharing the current harvest in our food pantry at the front entrance of the school. Enjoy the fresh squash, zucchini, tomatoes, potatoes and basil!
Pickens County School District will once again have a staggered start to the school year.
In addition to the free summer meals the PCSD provides, the Pickens County Health Department will also hand out free breakfasts and lunches (enough for 5-7 days) for children. The event will run every Tuesday beginning June 22, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
The Pickens County Health Department will have a WIC Farmer's Market Day and School Health Fair on 6/11/2024 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Families will be able to check and update their children's immunizations and obtain 3231 or 3300 forms, if needed.

Congratulations to Matthew Bearden! Mr. Matthew, as his students call him, is the Pickens County Paraprofessional of the Year! Gabe Gossett presented this recognition from E.S.S. What a well-deserved honor! We are fortunate to have him on Team Hawk.
