We’re excited for our Hawks (K–4th) to attend the Veterans Parade in downtown Jasper next Tuesday. However, students must have a signed permission slip to participate.

A Spook-tacular Time on Main Street!
What a fantastic evening of trick-or-treating on Friday! Mrs. Chapman and Mrs. Hardison had a blast passing out candy and inviting everyone to vote for their favorite Hill City pumpkins.
Pumpkin Contest Winners:

With a total of 943 votes cast, the crowd was amazed by all the creativity and festive pumpkin designs!

While today’s recess weather was delightful, yesterday’s was a bit frightful! So Mrs. Everett’s PreK class brought the fun indoors with a balancing game. Students walked around with tissues on their heads to see how long they could keep them up—lots of giggles and wobbly fun all around!

The HCES staff had some festive fun today with the Pumpkin in Your Pocket game! The lucky winners were Mrs. Ellis, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Romesberg, and Mrs. Cook — (hmm… how did three second grade teachers manage to win? )
It was such a fun way to spread a little extra sunshine and laughter around our school!

Our PreK teachers brought Dr. Seuss magic to Halloween with a fun, whimsical twist straight out of the pages of his stories! From Cat in the Hat to Thing 1 and Thing 2, it was a "Seuss-per" fun day for our littlest Hawks!
