(Accelerated Reader) is a voluntary reading program offered through our Media Center. Way to go Judah (3rd grade), Chelsea (4th grade & most points overall for entire school), and Kate (2nd grade)! We are Passing the Hawk again! Jacob Pair is recognizing Deputy Kevin Roach, our S.R.O. He explained, "Whether outside on the playground with the students or leading them in a chant in the lunchroom, Officer Roach is always trying to bring joy to the children who walk these halls." Congratulations, Deputy Roach! (Also, thank you to "Cardboard Mrs. Phyllis" for standing in the for trophy presentation!)


The totals are in and we have a winner! Congratulations to PreK for donating a whopping 255 items! They've won the popsicle party. Thank you to all who shared in this collection effort. A total of 780 food and hygiene items were donated to benefit the needy in our community who use our outdoor resource box. Thank you for supporting the Helping Hawks Hub!


More excellent sight word achievement in Mrs. Bryson's kindergarten! Congratulations to Christopher for mastering 100 sight words and to Kai for reaching his 500 sight word goal!


Congratulations to Hudson in Mrs. Gartrell's kindergarten class! He just mastered 100 sight words and earned a token to the Book Vending Machine for a new book. Way to read!

PCSD will be holding a job fair on April 30th, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Pickens High School. We have many positions open including custodians, food service, bus drivers, and more! We hope to see you there!


Just a reminder that all schools and the district office will be closed next week, April 1st – 5th for Spring Break. We wish our students, staff, and their families a safe and restful week off.
