After enjoying "Hair Love" by Matthew Cherry—a sweet story about a dad doing his best to create a very special hairstyle for his daughter’s very special day—our PreK students shared some “hair love” of their own! Here's Mrs. Everett's and Mrs. Allen's class matching colors, stringing beads, and practicing counting while building fine motor and math skills.
Mrs. Connelly’s 4th grade ELA class knocked it out of the park with their Unit Reading Challenge! Students confidently presented how they determined the central idea of a text, carefully annotated relevant details, and then tied it all together by summarizing each paragraph in their own words. Their hard work, thoughtful reading strategies, and clear explanations truly showed how much they’ve grown as readers and thinkers. Way to go, 4th grade—keep reading strong!

Mrs. Allen’s PreK class had a "spacetastic" time at their dance party! While moving and grooving, students were learning all about space—what a fun way to explore and learn!

Mrs. Dilbeck’s kindergarteners had so much fun celebrating the 100th Day of School! From sharing collections of 100 items to making a 100-treat snack and hunting for numbered Hershey Kisses on the 100s chart, learning was hands-on and sweet!
