Fresh Okra at Hill City Elementary!

Our school-grown okra is now available in the free food pantry in front of the school! Our Hawks are helping sort and bag the fresh harvest during Mrs. Chapman's Agriculture class. Please help yourself and enjoy some fresh okra with your family! If the pantry is empty when you arrive, check back soon—we’ll be adding more each day until we run out!

A special shout-out to Mrs. Chapman and her family for tending the garden all summer and making this harvest-sharing possible. It truly is a labor of love!

Coach Black is excited to pass the first Hawk Award of this school year to our amazing bookkeeper, Susie Chapman!

After our remodel, Susie spent countless hours getting our building back in shape—unpacking boxes, putting up bulletin boards, and making sure every classroom had the supplies needed for a great start to the year. She also keeps our classrooms covered when staff members are absent.

Thank you, Susie, for always going above and beyond for our school! We appreciate you!
