Picture retakes will be October 17th. They are typically here only about an hour so if your child is new, was absent on the original picture day, or you were not satisfied with the original picture, please make sure they are at school on time.
If your child had their picture made, and you were not satisfied, please email the teacher and let them know you would like your child to have their picture retaken.
Elanor Barfield, a 4th grade student at Tate Elementary is PCSD’s student spotlight for October. Elanor’s teachers say she is kind, helpful, and hardworking. She always tries her best and she always wears a smile. Way to go Elanor!

For the month of September, Campus Law Enforcment Officer Poulos has chosen Aiden Allen as the Campus Law Enforcment Student of the Month. Aiden was nominated by his teachers, Mrs. Jill and Ms. Faucett. Aiden works hard to make sure that everyone is happy and feels included. If someone is upset or sad, Aiden always jumps into action and tries his very best to make them feel better. Aiden is a good friend to ALL of his classmates and loves helping others. He is always encouraging and cheers others on when they are doing well. That is very commendable behavior. Aiden is determined to make a difference. Congratulations Aiden!

Don't forget 9/13 is the last day to order your child's yearbook at the lowest price available, $32.00. The price will increase to $35.00 beginning September 14th.
Important Reminder Regarding the Free & Reduced Meal Program
The carryover in benefits from last year’s Free & Reduced Meal Program will end September 13, 2024. After this date the student will return to full pay status unless a new application is submitted to re-establish the student's eligibility before the end of the carryover period.
For households that meet the income requirements we encourage you to submit a new free and reduced application now.
