I am Angie Kretschmar and I am honored to be your Principal. I joined the Hill City family after working with the Rockdale County School System for 15 years. My husband, Kenneth, and I are delighted to be back living in Pickens County. We actually met here in high school and continue to look forward to Friday night football games, Marble Festivals, and all the fun that our community has to offer.

I began my educational journey right here in Pickens County attending Jasper Elementary School, Pickens County Middle School, and Pickens High School. I am a product of this school system, and I credit my success to the wonderful teachers who work here and my awesome parents who partnered with my teachers to ensure my success. I truly believe that it takes a TEAM approach to help children reach their highest potential.

My goal is to ensure that our students and staff have all the resources and support they need to have a successful school year. Elementary education is the foundation for your child's educational journey and we want that foundation to be strong and steadfast.
